I'm not sure I'd call this a bug, exactly, but it's behavior that is unexpected. The CETLS blog is set up with moderated comments and is connected to a group on the Academic Commons. Group members receive an email notification through the Commons when a new post is published. If a group member comments on a blog post by responding to the notification email, the comment is not placed in the moderation queue, but is published immediately. While this is generally not problematic in the context of the CETLS blog, it was confusing and it could be problematic in other contexts.

Ray, could you have a look? I'm guessing that RBE is not aware of a site's discussion settings.

I've added the ability to moderate comments created via email. (Code reference - https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/87dc1f6a6a9055b4053c01a44e31903d7e377afc)

I've also added support for the "Email me when a comment is held for moderation" admin setting for comments created via email.

This will be available later today. Boone, I've updated the ACTION_REQUIRED list due to the fact that RBE will need to be rebooted for this fix to take effect.
