Description

Right now the link goes to an intermediary page. Shouldn't it just go to Zendesk?

Hi Scott,

The intermediary page lists the Zendesk address that people can use to email us. I'm not sure what you are suggesting instead -- do you mean that we should embed the Zendesk form there?

Hi Matt - I think it should be consistent with the form that pops up when you click Help >> Send Us A Message - see attached

Scott, if you're being taken to an intermediate "page", it could be that there's a JS issue preventing the ZenDesk modal from being launched. Could you please share details about what you're seeing?

Hi Boone - I shouldn't have called this a bug - it is more a UX question. Contact Us goes to https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/about/contact-us/. And if you click the link, you can send an email to zendesk. It seems to me an extra step. Why not go directly to the zendesk form (see attached)?

Hi Scott,

I have to say that I think the way we have it set up is right. I think it would be odd to present a pop-up menu from the main navigation bar. I'm going to reject this for now but please feel free to bring it up in discussion when we are in person so that I can better understand where you are coming from.
