closed"posts list" page builder block option

Description
Via Zendesk:
I'm a CUNY student and help run the page for the Brooklyn Waterfront Research Center at CityTech (https://bwrc.commons.gc.cuny.edu/). I'm not sure if you're the person to contact, but I have a very (hopefully?) simple question.
Is there a way to get the "posts list" page builder block option to be available / usable? I see that it's usually available (for example, in the demo version) but it doesn't come up for me in the list of block options for the page builder (screenshot below). If there's a way I can add that, please let me know!
Thanks,
Arielle

It appears that the 'Posts List' feature is specific to the 'Make Plus' plugin https://thethemefoundry.com/docs/make-docs/page-builder/posts-list-section/ This is a paid tool. Make Plus is actually part of the Commons codebase, but it's out of date and is not whitelisted for all sites https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/3626#note-11. If the Commons had Make's "Theme Bundle Pro" (which specifies unlimited site use) then we could make it globally available. See https://thethemefoundry.com/pricing/. I generally don't like the idea of the Commons subscribing to these sorts of things - they get out of date, they require separate workflows for maintaining updates, etc - but Make is better than most alternative options. I still lean toward "no", but I leave it up to Matt whether Make Plus is worth investing in for use on the Commons. https://thethemefoundry.com/docs/make-docs/common-questions/
Scott, I'm adding you as a watcher in case you can suggest other ways of adding post lists to blog posts. I wonder whether there might be a good Block, either in WP or in one of our add-on libraries.
Marilyn, feel free to let the user know that we're researching, but don't promise anything quite yet.

Yes, I already suggested using Atomic Blocks - but I haven't heard back from her.
