Description
Hi -- is it possible to create a method for embedding a live meeting session using jitsi meet into a course wordpress site? For instance, via a plugin like this one:
https://en-gb.wordpress.org/plugins/webinar-and-video-conference-with-jitsi-meet/
or alternatively using the BuddyPress plugin Buddy Meet? (I don't know anything about BP but I have noticed that the Academic Commons has a number of plugins.)
Thank you,
Jon

Thank you Boone, much appreciated.
Hi Boone, just following up on this plugin. I don't see it in the list of available plugins. I apologize if I'm missing something obvious or doing it the wrong way, but can you let me know whether it's there (and how to find it)?
Thanks,
Jon
Hi Jon - I had an emergency yesterday and wasn't able to perform our release as scheduled. It'll be done by the end of the day today. I'll update this ticket when it happens.
Thanks Boone. Hope everything is ok.

Hi Boone, I wrote to the developer because one of the features was not working (ability to set or edit the "meeting room name"). The developer updated the plugin and asked me to try it. Is it possible for us to get the update?
Best,
Jon
Hi Jon - Yes. We are running version 1.0.0 of the plugin, and the current version is 1.0.2. As such, it'll be part of our next scheduled maintenance release, scheduled for Aug 25. See https://dev.commons.gc.cuny.edu/release-schedule-and-procedures/ for more information about plugin updates (as a rule, you won't need to ask me to do it, it's baked into our processes).
Ok thank you! Sorry to bother you about it, I'd forgotten that it happens automatically.
-Jon
