I (Marilyn) uploaded a JPEG to a class group that I am helping out with. I did not click silent upload, but no one received a notification.
I tested it in my own private group where I am using one of my identities as an admin and another as a member. Same story - the document is uploaded without problem, but no notification is sent. I'm marking this as High because I have a fairly anxious professor who'd like to make sure her readings go out before classes begin.
