Description

Was just helping a member after the CAT meeting and trying to show her how to view post revisions. But "revisions" didn't appear there as a checkable option (http://lehmanfacultyprofessionaldevelopment.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/post.php?post=50&action=edit) even though it does appear on other blogs (http://news.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/post.php?post=893&action=edit).

is this a theme issue or something? Doesn't seem like it should be.

The problem in this case is that there weren't any post revisions, other than the current revision. 'Revisions' doesn't become an option until there is at least one additional revision saved.

Okay, thanks. This came up because the member accidentally closed the browser window and wanted to see whether any work had been saved.

Do you know if autosaves on the Commons happen every two minutes, as they apparently do on wp.com?

Yes, our autosave is set to 120 seconds. New revisions are saved to the database only if the content of the post has been changed since the last revision.
