Description
"Quick question: I notice on my Medieval Studies commons site dashboard, I still have Mail Poet. But when I tried to search for the Mail Poet plugin in the American Studies site dashboard, I couldn’t find it. Could it have to do with the fact that I have Jetpack installed and running on the Medieval one but not on the American Studies site?
I don’t plan to use Mail Poet to send anything, just use it to create a newsletter using the wordpress posts and copy and paste everything over to Mail Chimp. I think Mail Chimp is a safer option since its on a third party site and I don’t have to worry about it malfunctioning all of a sudden.
Would appreciate your insight"

Mail Poet, along with other newsletter plugins on the Commons like Tribulant Newsletters, have been disabled for most users. They are only visible on sites where they're already active, so they can be used for legacy reasons but not for new sites.
Marilyn, do you have any insight into way that the user could create a post using Jetpack or other existing services? What have you been advising users who want newsletter functionality?

She had been using tinyletter. This is now resolved.
