Description

We've had a request from JITP journal to create the shortlink cuny.is/jitp and redirect it to http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ . Is that possible?

Relatedly, we can do the same thing for subpages on that blog, right? Ie., cuny.is/jitpsubmissions can redirect to a page on the JITP blog about submissions, right?

Yes. Though they all take manual work for me, so can we keep it within reason? Please provide me with a full list and I'll take care of it all at once.

Fantastic -- thanks, Boone. I've asked them for all links/shortcodes to be sent in one batch and urged them to keep it small/reasonable. I'll send it on as soon as I have it.

Hi Boone --

Okay, here are the links. Many thanks in advance for your help with this.

cuny.is/jitp ----> http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

cuny.is/jitp-about ----> http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/about-the-journal/

cuny.is/jitp-guidelines ----> http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/submit/

I have added the links.

Hyphens are not allowed by our link shortening software, so I've eliminated them. The links are thus:
http://cuny.is/jitp
http://cuny.is/jitpabout
http://cuny.is/jitpguidelines

FYI, the latter two point to pages that appear not to exist at the moment.

Excellent. Thanks so much for your quick work on this, Boone. I've passed the news about hyphens on to the group. If they strenuously object, I may ask you to alter these links, but hopefully we'll be able to avoid that.
