Description

Juwon Jun reports:

"I have been attempting to change the widget sidebar background color on this website: https://psyched4stem.commons.gc.cuny.edu/. But the change is overwritten when I publish the settings. How I usually do this is by going to Customize > Colors > Sidebar. Is there something I am missing in this process. I’m using the sydney theme"

Hi Marilyn,

There appears to be a bug when saving the Customizer settings for Sydney theme's Sidebar Background. There was also a manual override for the sidebar's background color on the "Appearance > Simple CSS" page.

As a workaround, I've changed the background color to #FCEECA on the "Appearance > Simple CSS" page: https://psyched4stem.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/themes.php?page=simple-css. If the color is not what Juwon wanted, the color can be changed to something else.
