I think this is impossible, but I have this question
Via ZD:
I'm in the process of changing my last name from "Caprioli" to "Frye Castillo." Could you tell me if there is a way to update the URL of my name on CUNYcommons?

Hi Marilyn,
This is something that the user cannot change themselves. This would have to be done by the dev team at the moment. I do see one previous request for a user to change their username: #12482.
In that ticket, Boone mentions:
If there are any links coming into the Commons from external sources,... they will no longer work after the change. Can I get confirmation that this is OK?
So we would have to ask the user for confirmation before changing the username because the previous profile URL will no longer work.

Ray, I see that in #12482 I mentioned a utility but didn't say what it was :) It's attached here.
I've run the utility for the user in question (the @-mention replacement takes a long time and isn't quite done yet, but everything else is).
