Description

I'm trying to add a new user to this blog . When I start typing in the user's name, the drop-down list of members shows up and I select the members name. But it appears that the selection is not being registered and I continue to see a spinning disc showing the that the system is still working. I then try to submit the choice, but it doesn't take effect -- the member did not receive a confirmation message. And when I try to submit while skipping confirmation, the user doesn't show up in the list of members.

Screenshots attached.

  • Target version changed from 96 to 1.4

It turns out that my Add User Autocomplete was not correctly disabling WP 3.4's user-suggest script (which was based on Add User Autocomplete, but has fewer features, so we're opting for the plugin). Fixed in https://github.com/castiron/cac/commit/b0b524aff7c4ed5ce2b7596b977c5cb6d500dd88

If there is any way to get this up this week, I'd appreciate it.

Still shooting for a Friday release of 1.4. If you absolutely need it before then, I will package a separate release - let me know. (If 1.4 gets pushed off, I'll do a bugfix release on Friday instead.)

okay -- sounds like a good plan -- Friday via 1.4 or bugfix release
