Description

Boone, what do you think of this? I've heard la of good things about GFs but haven't used them.

I'm not a fan of GF for serious development and customization. I think it's fine for doing stuff like contact forms.

Don't we already have a contact form plugin? What would GF give us that we don't already have?

I'm thinking that it would allow our members to create more robust contact forms. Here is the GF feature set The two contact forms we currently have on the site seem like they are less fully featured:

cforms II

Contact Form 7

I'm not set on doing this, by the way, if you don't think it would be an improvement. The cost is pretty negligible, so we should only add Gravity Forms if, indeed, they offer something we don't already have. My guess is that they do, but I'd like to know what you think. Also don't want to add GF if you're not a fan of the code.

If we already have two contact form plugins, I'm very wary of adding another. The fact that I don't like the way GF is built makes the case for not installing even more compelling. So, if it's all the same to you, I vote no. That said, I don't feel super strongly about it, so if there's something about GF you've Gotta Have, then it's fine.

Alright -- let's reject this for now but revisit the issue if we're faced with a request for more robust contact forms.
