Description

I have a widget StatPressV for the blog. But it stopped working on 9/22. Is it because of the update?

Hi Rowena,

I'll let the developers chime in on this, but it looks like the plugin hasn't been updated in 2 years and is believed to be compatible only up to WP 2.9.2 (WP is currently at 3.4.2).

If you're using this plugin to gather site stats, I have two suggestions for you. First is the opportunity to receive Google Analytics reports:

Secondly, you can activate the plugin Jetpack and use the wp.com stats if you have a (free) account on wp.com.

At any rate, I'll leave Dom or Boone chime in on this particularly plugin.

Rowena,

I agree with Matt's assessment. This plugin (like GalleryPress) is old and outdated. We are working to remove as many outdated plugins and themes as we can so that these problems arise as infrequently as possible.

Would you let me know if Matt's suggestions (Google analytics or Jetpack) are acceptable, and if not let me know if you'd lie me to find a suitable replacement (if one exists)?
