Before the upgrade, documents uploaded to groups created nice email notifications that included a variety of links (such as one to download the document directly). George uploaded minutes of today's CAT meeting to the CAT group http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/cuny-committee-on-academic-technology-62702785/home/ but no notification resulted.

Not sure what caused the problem, but I just upgraded the plugin and notifications seem to be working again. Please test.
