Another report:

I'm having a bit of trouble with archiving my capstone project (https://cunyinthenews.commons.gc.cuny.edu/) via the "Simply Static" plugin on the Commons. I have no idea what's going wrong with it - when I go to the "diagnostics" tab, the only thing that seems to be wrong:

WP-CRON: WordPress cron is not available and not running

Could you please advise on how to resolve?

I've been putting out fires on the Commons for the last day, so this has not been high on my priority list. Please pass my apologies along to the users.

In any case, I did manage to find some time in the last hour to begin looking into it, and I found at least part of the problem, which is that sites that had set up simply-static on the old GC site and then been migrated to Reclaim had some paths in their settings that were not correct. I wrote a tool that repaired these paths, so the error message about "writable directories" etc is no longer showing.

The WP_Cron thing is a false positive and can be ignored.

Archive generation is still not fully working, because of some problems related to recent downtime. I'll update this ticket when I have more info.
