This is a recurrence of #22281. That fix was overwritten when the plugin saw an unexpected update this week. As you can see, the author replied to my request but decided not to implement the fix https://wordpress.org/support/topic/unchecked-reference-to-multisite-in-framework-throws-fatals-in-php-8/#new-topic-0

If this happens again, we may have to retire the plugin, or stop updating it.
