Do we have access to H5P content on Wordpress? If not, is it possible to get access?

A search for similar requests https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/projects/cunyac/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&scope=subprojects&issues=1&q=h5p shows a number of results, which I've linked as related tickets. https://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/22029 is probably a good place to start, and you can read backward. Short version is no, we don't have H5P support, because of concerns about security and stability.

Sorry to make us go over old ground here, but want to clarify one point

As Colin mentioned in #22029, a person can go to H5P.com and build content there (with paid subscription).

I am clear on the fact that we will not install the H5P plugin and its attendant libraries which would allow a user to build h5p content within the Commons.

But, if a commons user really want to use H5P, they could go build content on H5P.com. Could we then develop a custom iframe embed code to pull the content into the Commons? I think yes? Because the security issues are mitigated because the H5P content would be hosted on the external site not our site? Is this correct?

Thanks!

Yes, an H5P.com iframe would skirt these issues. I don't know off the top of my head how easy it would be to build an iframe handler for h5p.com, but presumably it wouldn't be too hard. I would need examples of a few pieces of public h5p.com so I could test.
