Description

A member who tried to use the Invite Anyone email functionality reports that a kbcc.cuny.edu address was rejected with the error message that it is not a valid domain. I've asked him for more detail (was that the only domain rejected; were there some kbcc domains that went through, etc.). Currently waiting on a response.

I thought I responded to this, but apparently my update didn't save.

The problem has to do with the core hack we have to do in order to enable a wildcard in our email domain whitelist. Invite Anyone uses core functions to check against that whitelist, but it doesn't understand the core hack for a number of reasons.

Until a better long term solution is found to our core hack, I have turned off the section of Invite Anyone that checks email addresses against the whitelist. CUNY addresses now work fine.
