WP 6.9.x was released on Dec 2: https://wordpress.org/news/2025/12/gene/

I'd like to propose updating to the 6.9.x series as part of the major-update release 2.6.6, on January 27, 2026.

Jeremy can you please find time in the upcoming weeks to verify that 6.9 doesn't break anything related to the CV editor?

Everything is looking good here. I've tested the CV editor with both WordPress 6.9 and the latest Gutenberg plugin, 22.2.0.
