The Commons Buzz slider has stopped sliding. Here us the link: http://news.commons.gc.cuny.edu/commons-buzz/ There seems to be a "looped slider" jquery error - I wonder if there was a plugin added recently to the site that might conflict? Or some other issue? It's worked for a long time.

There were a couple bugs in the slider js that finally surfaced with the latest jQuery update in WP 3.5. For details, see https://github.com/castiron/cac/commit/26dca2d0ef963b5a90819a1bbcea2834529d6573
In https://github.com/castiron/cac/commit/c09b3a5a9f57dc9a78df8299771299d23e2d60d2, I apply the same fix to all themes using loopedSlider.js.
It's likely that this is fixed in recent versions of the Woo themes. See http://redmine.gc.cuny.edu/issues/2080
