I administer a group that we have to occasionally toggle between private and hidden to accommodate onboarding of new members (https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/critical-ai-literacy-institute/)

Once they're onboarded, we hide it, so that we don't have to deal with requests to join.

I switched it to private earlier this week, and it does not show up in my groups when I'm logged in (verified via last active and alphabetical view).

It DOES show up in my activity feed -- https://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/critical-ai-literacy-institute/forum/topic/four-upcoming-events-on-ai/. It seems to be that that's the only way that I can actually navigate to it.

Is it intended behavior for hidden groups of which you're a member not to be listed in your groups index?
