Description

I'm seeing only two blog posts in the "Recent Blog Posts" list. In the past, I've seen errors in that column because of erroneous formatting in the post excerpts, but looking at the source of the page, I see empty activity feed items.

Noticed that the entire activity feed seems a bit abbreviated, actually - http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/activity/

It looks like the problem fixed itself. Can you verify?

I think I might have figured out what is (still) happening. When I visit the site as a logged out user, I still see the problem -- there are only three or four recent blog posts on the front page, and there news page has empty spaces that look like they should be filled with activity info (see attached screenshot). When I log in, everything looks normal. Could this have something to do with the fact that I can see more as an admin, but that as a public user, there aren't enough "recent" posts and activity to fill up the allotted spaces?

Good catch on the logged-out thing - that's the problem. The plugin I wrote to make BP respect More Privacy Options settings was not resetting the activity count properly after filtering out non-public blogs, which was leaving empty spaces in activity streams associated with blogs. Super admins get to see every blog entry, which is why the problem wasn't arising for you and for me.
