Description

I was just doing some testing and noticed that I wasn't able to add a group to associate an event with. I tried creating the event from the top navigation as well as from my profile page, and out of the 5 times I tried, it only worked once. There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.

Also, the venue doesn't show any options. I have to add a new venue every time instead of being able to select one that has already been used.

Using Windows 7, Chrome 43.0.2357.81

Thanks for the report, Sarah. Can I please ask for some additional details? What exactly did you do these 5 times? What steps are you taking, and at what step are you seeing something other than what you'd expect to see?

Please also give specifics on the Venue problem. When you say "doesn't show any options", what are you doing? Is it the Arrow button? Or are you typing something and expecting autocomplete? As many details as possible would be helpful.

Can you please open your browser's JS console to see if you are getting any errors?

I was able to recreate one of Sarah's issues. When I type the first three letters of a group I belong to, nothing happens. Whereas, on CDEV, the groups that match those letters appear in a clickable list.

I could not recreate the Venue issue she reported.

I should clarify that my previous post refers to the Groups section of the New Event "page" where you enter the names of any groups where the event should appear.

Yet again, this appears to be due to an SSL issue and ajaxurl. See #4116. https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/7dab7d2e65000c437989d4977cf9697c22fe52d7 should fix it - can I get the team to test again, please?

I tested it and it's working now. The groups that match the "3 letters" are being found and presented. I marked this "Resolved"
