Description
I created a group (Testing #2), Xed out of window after step 2 (settings) -- then went into the group and clicked 'Forum' from the lefthand menu. The page showed a different group's forum (SPS General Education Academic Community Leaders), see attached screenshot. This is a bug, the forum should show up as empty or there should be a screen asking whether the user wants to create a forum for the group (because the step was never reached during setup).
[After clicking 'Manage' from the lefthand menu in 'Testing #2' and clicking 'Save settings' in 'Forum' tab, the proper empty forum showed up for the group.]

Dan, could you look into this please? I have a suspicion that it's a bbPress bug. If you manage to reproduce on your local Commons environment, try it on a vanilla WP+BP+bbPress setup too.

I actually wasn't able to reproduce this on my local Commons, or on a vanilla install of WP+BP+bbPress. In both cases, the group didn't have the "Forum" tab in the group's lefthand menu. Not sure what the next step here is but happy to keep digging!

I just created a new Group to test this bug and I didn't encounter this problem. I landed in the correct Forum, see attached.
I don't think the bug is still occurring. Thanks Dan and Boone!
