Description

Hi all -
I went to the York Comm Tech blog this afternoon and was surprised to see all of the page navigation gone!

Apparently the Arras Theme doesn't natively support menus as a result of the Commons update. I needed to work in the new "Menus" tab under appearance and rebuild the navigation.

It took a little time to figure out how this new feature works, but I'd expect Arras to not be the last theme that results in lost navigation. Might be something we/I could write a blog post about in the help blog.

FWIW, this means that Arras does support WP 3.0 menus natively (which is to its credit). It's just not smart enough to do an intelligent fallback when the user has not had a chance to set up those new menus.

Michael, sorry that this got lost for all this time. I'm going to assume that it's been resolved one way or another in the last few years, so I'm closing. If you continue to have issues, please feel free to reopen with details.

Yup. Not an issue anymore. And York Commtech needs a new theme at this point anyway!
