Description

I had an embarrassing incident in front of the Digital Praxis class (while being observed by a colleague, no less) when I went to show the DiRT Tools directory and could not find it anywhere. There was no group tab for digital tools in groups where I had previously activated it and I could not find a site wide tools page. Was the plug-in accidentally deactivated during a recent update? If so, how can we prevent that from happening again in the future?

Yes, the plugin was deactivated. It appears to be due to the recent debacle where I inadvertantly deactivated a bunch of stuff during an upgrade. I neglected to reactivate the dirt-directory-client plugin during cleanup. Apologies for the oversight, and for the embarassment.

It's possible to rework the way that the main Commons site loads its plugins so that they cannot be deactivated. It's not a trivial task, so I'm going to open a separate ticket to discuss the process with Ray.

Please verify that the DiRT integration is once again working as expected.

No worries and thanks for fixing. Thanks, too, for starting a separate ticket to address larger issues.
