Description
A member reports the following error:
I am getting [denied size] errors and [denied extension] error for some of
my attachments.
the denied size is for a 5.13Mb file
the denied extension is for a .zip file

- Target version set to 1.2
.zip is, at the moment, not a permitted extension for forum attachments, at least non for non-admins. I'll need to do some research into the dangers of zip uploads before enabling it for all users. In the meantime, I encourage the member to upload individual document items if possible.

I've done some research, and I've concluded that we don't have the security architecture in place at the moment to allow for .zip uploads. I'm going to change this to a feature request so that I can do more research and perhaps implement it down the line.

I have to say that I don't think it's a great idea for us to allow .zip file uploads considering the security issues involved.

Agreed. I don't think this is going to be feasible, due to security concerns.
