Description
We are working with Portico (http://www.portico.org/digital-preservation/services/e-journal-preservation-service) try and preserve some of the GC journal content and they are claiming that the RSS feeds are abridged, so wondering if something can be done.
Here is the message from the Portico folks:
As requested, find below are the samples of the missing issue content which is not available in RSS feed and missing in Portico audit site. However, available in the Cuny website http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/table-of-contents-issue-one/.
As mentioned earlier we are missing the entire 2012 content for the JITP and content from 2013 is only partially delivered. For the TRAUE title Portico has only one September 16, 2014 (http://audit.portico.org/Portico/#!journalLOVIView/cs=ISSN_21566968?ct=E-Journal%20Content[audit.portico.org]) content fetched from the RSS feed. Rest of the content which is available in the following website : http://traue.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ is not in the RSS feed.
Hence, can you please request the publisher to open up all the content which they have in the following link to be opened up in the RSS feed:
http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
http://traue.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
Example of a missing articles from the RSS feed and Portico, but available in the website: http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/table-of-contents-issueone/

http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/table-of-contents-issueone/ does not appear to be a valid URL - I'm getting a 404 from WordPress when attempting to access it.
Do we have another example of an object not appearing in the RSS feed? This will help me figure out what's going on.
It would also be helpful to know what Portico is doing when it tries to ingest the RSS feed. For example, is it attempting to paginate through results? How? What URL is it accessing? It's hard to know how to "open up all the content" if I'm unsure how the content is being accessed.

I'll ask Portico. Also, I wonder if JITP lost some content when the site was re-architected.

From Portico:
Here’s the correct URL:
http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu/table-of-contents-issue-one/
As for the remaining questions, let me reach out and get those answers from our data team. Just wanted to get the correct example over to you in the meantime.
Thanks,
Kaitlin
