Right now they're autogenerated based on group slugs. Make that a suggestion rather than a requirement.
Putting at 1.2 for now because I think it will be straightforward, but I will bump to the next release if necessary.

This sounds like a good plan, allowing the URL to be edited at the time one creates a group blog.
