Description

The current "who's online" widget shows only logged in members. It would be cool to see how many guests are viewing, too. This plugin (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/who-is-online/) seems to do that. Is there any way to combine the two or to make the plugin I just linked BuddyPress-compatible?

What would it look like? A line of text in the "Who's Online" box that just says "and 5 guests"?

Yes. I'm not convinced we need this; when I first thought of it, it seemed like a way to showcase how much the site was being used. But that prioritizes my desires as a project manager over the needs of a our members. To members of the site, seeing the number of un-logged-in visitors might be intimidating and make them feel as though they are being watched. In the end, it's probably not a good idea.

Let's put this on hold for now and close the ticket unless you really think this is a good idea. I've lost a bit of my enthusiasm for it.

I don't think it's all that interesting. Probably not worth the time.
