Hi Luke,

The link is not faulty. If you click on it, it should launch in your email client with the "To" email field prepopulated.

I tested this with the Gmail web client and it works. Perhaps this isn't working with other email clients. If that is the case, let me know.

Ahh... not working with Apple Mail in Chrome. Tested and Mail does open in Safari and FF.

It looks like Apple Mail is very restrictive and just allows the email address in the mailto link:
https://developer.apple.com/library/content/featuredarticles/iPhoneURLScheme_Reference/MailLinks/MailLinks.html

And not a name with the email address like what is currently in the screenshot.

I guess I'll just stick with the email address, which is universal.
