:I need to assume admin rights over the Commons site for an organization I work for.

I'm the webmaster for ILETC, the Institute for Language Education in Transcultural Context at the GC. We used to host our site on the Commons (before my time) but our site is now hosted on the GC's Kentico system. However, the commons site remains online, and certain elements of the current site depend on it.

We have had some personnel changes over the years, particularly at the webmaster position, and no one currently working for us seems to have administrator access to the Commons site. Can you help me figure out how I can get this access? I will be happy to get our director to send an email if that's necessary.

I was thinking this might be solvable by making me an admin of iletc.commons.gc.cuny.edu, However, that URL redirects to the Kentico site (http://www.gc.cuny.edu/Page-Elements/Academics-Research-Centers-Initiatives/Centers-and-Institutes/Institute-for-Language-Education-in-Transcultural-Context). The Commons top bar (where the Dashboard would be) isn't there. How would I gain access?
