Description
At City Tech, we're advertising for a technical writer for our new platform for teaching and learning. Maura Smale suggested that it would be good to have a blog on the Commons where people could submit job ads.
I'd say that the blog should both be able to display ads and have a form that people could use to submit them. This will take some upkeep, as submitted ads will need to be published by hand on the site.
Scott, can you take the lead on this? But let's all brainstorm ideas here.
Hi -
I installed Contact Forms 7 and Really Simple Captcha and created two forms - one to post a job listings and the other to notify us when the job requirements are filled, so that we can re-categorize the listing post. When members or non-members post a listing, it is sent via email to (right now) my address, and I would post the requirement. Once the requirement is filled, hopefully the user would let us know via the second form and we could close it out.

Let me know what you think. Thanks.
Excellent work, Scott!! Many thanks. It looks great. And the title image is a nice touch. Well done.
The only additional thing I can think of asking on the job submission form is "Tags." I'd make it an optional field.
This looks great, Scott, thanks so much! I'll close our job out when we fill it.
Best,
Maura
