Gerry Martini reports:

The Events calendar plugin is not showing any of the events at either the admissions.commons.gc.cuny.edu site or the psccunygc.commons.gc.cuny.edu site. Is there currently planned maintenance or something? Thanks!

I see you had other problems reported in #8694 and #8552

Not a momentary glitch. It was a break related to this morning's security update to WordPress 4.8.2. The plugin the-events-calendar included some syntax that was incompatible with the security updates, so it broke. The plugin authors have already fixed this in their mainline branch. I've applied it as a hotfix, which is why it's working now. https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/d0c33fdab7807950b5b019cbc32488ce67dab093
