Description
On our prod site, I tried to change a groups cuny.is shortlink. Original was group-omeka. I tried to change to omeka. Got message that it was already used - but when I go the cuny.is/omeka - it goes to CAC home page.

Thanks, Scott. It appears that there's a safeguard in the plugin that prevents you from selecting a URL that exactly matches a group's slug (ie, if there's a group commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/foo, then cuny.is/foo is protected). This made sense when all cuny.is URLs pointed to users - it would be confusing for a user to essentially hijack a group's URL - but it doesn't make a lot of sense anymore. I'll fix this.
- Status changed from Assigned to Reporter Feedback
