Hi Ray,
Lisa reports that there is a lot of spam coming in to the gcdi@gc.cuny.edu email address, and she thinks it is through the form on this page -- https://gcdi.commons.gc.cuny.edu/contact/
Can you please take quick look at that form? I don't see a CAPTCHA, for instance, and my memory of previous work on forms/spam was that we had set up all forms to include CAPTCHAs

I do see a captcha on the form. See attached screenshot.
Will try to see whereabouts the spam could be coming from.

I looked into our Contact Form 7 modifications and while the captcha is working, the Akismet support I added in #8570 got disabled by accident in #8779.
I've added a fix in https://github.com/cuny-academic-commons/cac/commit/57aa94e7cd28e6d77f85708a9c9d0128de973bb2
And have deployed this as a hotfix on production.
Let me know if spam continues on the GCDI site.
