Description

Just logged a long request triggered by a cron job in twitter-mentions-as-comments. It appears that the plugin does an hourly check that involves pulling up every single post on the site. This can take a very long time when a site has many posts. The plugin has no obvious internal mechanism for dividing this process into batches.

The plugin hasn't been updated in 5 years, so we might consider disabling it. Here are the sites where it's running:

I'll start by putting 15 minutes in to see if I can rewrite the plugin to use separate cron tasks for each post.
