Description

Hi all,

I've been trying to set up the PressForward Turnkey Theme in my PF Sandbox site. Apparently, the theme requires the Liquid Slider plugin: https://github.com/KevinBatdorf/liquidslider in order to work. I realize that we already have a number of slider plugins on the commons, and I'd be happy to just have this one plugin added such that it was only accessible from the PF Sandbox site for now so that I can experiment. Would that be possible?

Currently, without that plugin, the theme breaks after the menu bar. I have another bug to chase down with widgets and the sidebar, but I'm hopeful that the sidebar widget error disappears once Liquid Slider is activated.

Thanks!
Lisa

Hi Lisa - Could you point to some documentation or other information that indicates that this theme requires Liquid Slider? It looks to me like this was removed from the theme some time ago: https://github.com/PressForward/pressforward-turnkey-theme/commit/62e197ce21206820d0918673600bb6bd37386d74

The "Home Page Template" at https://pftest.commons.gc.cuny.edu/ appears to be powered by https://pftest.commons.gc.cuny.edu/wp-admin/post.php?post=27&action=edit. I added the "test" language, which seems to display fine. See screenshot. Can you say more about the "breaks after the menu bar" comment, perhaps providing screenshots or a more detailed explanation?

(For the record, I don't have a problem adding the plugin, but I don't want to do it without understanding the issue.)
