Description
Hi all,
I just noticed that I was mysteriously dropped from the MA in Digital Humanities and the MS in Data Analytics and Visualization groups. I didn't leave them by clicking on an unsubscribe button, so Matt mentioned that I should start a ticket.

Hi Lisa - I don't see any indication that you were banned from the groups. If you were simply removed (by an admin, etc), this would not show up in the database.
Is there any chance you can narrow down when this might have taken place? Eg, were you receiving email notifications up until a certain date? I can try to search the access logs for clues as to why this might have happened, but I need to be able to narrow the search somewhat.
In the meantime, there should be no harm in readding you to the groups. This can be done through the normal invitation process, or a super admin (Matt or I) could add you directly. Let me know if you need me to take further action on that.

Hi Lisa -- I just invited you back to both groups

Thanks, both. I did look back to see if I could find a drop off using email. Unfortunately, I tend to delete email notifications from the Commons because I know a copy of the email lives in the Commons Forum if I ever need to find it. I do know that I had access on August 20th, but sometime after that things dropped off.
Best,
Lisa

- Status changed from Reporter Feedback to Rejected
Unfortunately, we only recently started adding the kind of logging info we'd need to be able to debug this further. Given that it appears to be a one-off, I'm going to surmise that it was a case of user error (perhaps by a group admin?) and close the ticket. Please be sure to report back with specifics if you see the issue arise again.
