openAllow email invitations to be resent

For both email invites as well as regular member invites it would be most helpful to be able
to select a subset of sent invitations and resend them. I am sure that I am going to have to
send invitation requests a number of times before I get some of the members to accept the
invite.

The reason I haven't implemented this in the past is that there's a risk of the Commons becoming a tool for spammish activities. I'm curious to hear others' thoughts about it.

I would be in favor of some kind of metering that would cap the number of times an invitation could be sent (max 2-3) and that prevented people from sending those reminders more than once every four or five days (or something like that). Hopefully, that would prevent the kind of spamming situation you describe.

It'd be cool if the plugin did this automatically. Like, if it noticed that an email invitation hadn't been accepted after 14 or 30 days, it'd send a follow-up.
