I am creating a site (“Documenting Communities (Focus Inquiry Group – FIG)”) to display multiple projects developed by several graduate students during their teaching this semester. One of the projects has several YouTube videos created by students. I have added the videos to one page (the page is “projects” under “violence, healing, justice”) but I am having trouble with one of the links – it does not show as a YouTube image (like the others). I have checked and all the links are unlisted, and I am not sure why this link is acting differently.

I spent a few minutes trying to figure this out, but I couldn't see the problem.
The proper YouTube embed URL for the video in question is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BZ7VSM_Tbo&feature=youtu.be, but this didn't seem to work even after deleting the oembed cache in postmeta.
Ray, do you have experience with how YouTube oembed works? Maybe you could have a look.
I tried that in a couple different ways, but couldn't make it work. Maybe you can?

oEmbed for that one particular item has been blocked, probably due to the video's settings.
What I've done in this case is link the video's thumbnail to YouTube as a workaround for now until the video author has maybe changed their video settings to be more open.
Let me know if that is good enough, Marilyn.

Thanks for looking into this, Ray.
I'm tentatively marking as resolved.
