Bug #13496
closedReview contrast issues on registration page and profile page

Description
During today's community meeting, we noticed that the registration page uses dark gray text on a black background, and also on the profile page itself, we use dark gray text against a black background. We should review contrast levels for these colors and ensure that we are meeting WCAG requirements

Just posted this in the wrong thread, but moving it here.
I don't know what web accessibility compliance we're aiming for, but I assume AA. If so, we should use the color #999 for the grey copy. If we'd rather be compliant with AAA, let's use white for all text besides the links. Here are the results for #999, it only fails AAA for normal text (https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/?fcolor=999999&bcolor=262626)

Please change the color of all grey text on the profile and edit profile pages and make the field labels bold for contrast.
Let me know if you need further guidance.
Thanks!

Thanks, Sonja. White sounds good to me. I've made the changes.
