Missing Appearance section of Dashboard

Description
Hi All,
A Commons user is trying to build out the SPS faculty community site and she is unable to see the "Appearance" section of the dashboard. Screenshot attached.
I was also an admin on this site and am no longer able to access the Dashboard.
I saw in ticket 12157 Colin was also removed as admin on a site. Could these be related issues to role changes?
thanks,
Laurie

User sharonjay is a user on the site, but only has the Editor role. Editors can modify other people's content, but not site settings, including the Appearance menu. I haven't heard of any cases where a user was demoted from Administrator to Editor due to a software bug - it almost certainly happened because of an action (intentional or otherwise) taken by another site Administrator. Generally, in this sort of case, I prefer that another Administrator promote the user in question, but if that's not possible I can perform the promotion myself.
Laurie, I don't see your account listed as a user on the site, Editor or otherwise.
Given the above, I'm guessing someone went through and "cleaned up" user accounts.
Okay, thanks for this insight Boone. They have resolved the role issue themselves. I guess they may have removed me manually rather than anything happening bug-wise.
Sorry to waste your time!

No waste! Thanks, Laurie.
