I think that our most recent upgrade must have broken Feature 227 , as it appears not to be working now.

I concur. I guess I hadn't been logged out for a while so I didn't notice it but I just had that problem. Screenshot attached where the redirect url is still in place but I was just taken to the home page on logging in instead of to the page in the get string.

I'd put this at a high priority but that's just me (also I mentioned it in my Ground Control post).
