Description
Based on the mock-up Chris has posted in the CAC Subcommittee, can you put together a protest page that should go live tomorrow?
When you have a chance, please let me know whether you anticipate being able to have this up by tomorrow. Many thanks.

Chris, can you please provide the materials you created? (HTML or whatever it was). That way I won't have to start from scratch.

Chris's original forum post said that he had the HTML to share. That's what I want, if it's available. It will take me forever to make something from scratch based on this picture.

Time was ticking so I went ahead and did something myself. Check out the draft at cdev.gc.cuny.edu (you must be logged out of WP to see it).
Keep in mind that there is not time for massive changes, either to text or design. I want to get this up before I go to bed tonight. Thanks for your quick response.

Looks awesome Boone -- thanks so much!
One minor request:
Under Learn More, please edit the text to the following:
You're seeing this message as part of a protest against two bills currently before Congress: the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the House, and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) in the Senate. These bills, intended to curb online piracy but excessively overbroad, threaten the existence of sites like the CUNY Academic Commons that allow people to share information on the internet.
Otherwise, I think it looks fantastic. Thank you, Boone.

Sorry boone, was doing dinner and getting the kids to bed. In case you want it for whatever here is an HTML file with the CSS in the head. The CSS in there will give you the speech bubble things.

Thanks, Chris. It's a bit late for me to rework the markup to incorporate your speech bubbles - but I'm going to steal that CSS to use at a later date ;)
