closedConfirmation Message on Adding New Users to Blog

Description
Just tried to add an existing user to a blog. The live search through the membership rolls worked perfectly -- I started typing in a name, and the user popped up. I selected the user and clicked invite, and then . . .. nothing. There was no indication that the invitation had actually gone out, and the user isn't listed in the blog's users. Is there any way to provide a confirmation message if the invitation goes out?

Just to clarify: you mean that you selected the user and clicked 'Add Existing User', right? Otherwise I'm not sure what interface you're talking about.
There was no indication that the invitation had actually gone out
If you're using the interface I'm thinking of (at Users > Add New, under Add Existing User), then you should have gotten a yellow confirmation message that says
"Invitation emails sent to the following users:
boone test 13 (bgorges1)
A confirmation link must be clicked for them to be added to your site."
with the proper user name. Is it possible that you just missed this? Or do you have some additional kind of confirmation in mind?

If you did not check the 'Skip Confirmation Email' box, then they are only added to the site after confirming the invitation. That's why you don't see them.

Sorry -- I was trying to add an existing user to the blog, so it was Dashboard > Add New > Add Existing User

Hm... so if you were adding an existing user, you should indeed have gotten a confirmation message. I've just checked and it's working properly for me. Could I ask you to verify? If it's working, I'd like to close this ticket.
