Pamela Jean Stemberg reports
"My page https://v1innycchildren.commons.gc.cuny.edu/
suddenly has blog posts at the end of it that has nothing to do with it. I can't find them on the page, but they shouldn't be there. I turned off the ping backs, but I can't get rid of the blog posts."
I see exactly what she means - her site is pulling in other blogs that have public posts as comments. Nothing in the Discussion settings looks unusual to me (see attached.)
I'm looking now to see if other sites are having this problem.

She wants comments to be turned off entirely. I will do that now, but if you need to turn them back on to see the problem in action, just let me know. Thanks!
Nope - I cannot figure out how to delete these things. They don't appear as Comments in the dashboard view.
I think in her footer, she has a widget the shows recent posts from the entire Commons.
Scott was right. I was able to fix it by activating the Classic Widget plugin, then Deleting that setting:

I can see how confusing it is to have two widgets called "Recent Posts" - one notes that it is from your site, the other has no description (that one is from the entire Commons).
- Target version set to 2.0.10
- Status changed from New to Staged for Production Release
- Status changed from Staged for Production Release to Resolved
