Description

Hi Boone,

The GC has embarked upon an archiving project for its electronic journals, and as part of that effort it is collecting exports of journal content. We're able to grab the xml file export from the dashboard, but we need to also collect PDFs and other files that were published as part of this first issue.

We could go through the dashboard and download each individual file, but if were possible for you to FTP in and grab all of the files in the upload folder in one shot, that would certainly be easier. Can you let me know whether that's reasonable? We would need to do this every time JITP publishes -- ie., two or three times a year. http://jitp.commons.gc.cuny.edu

Please let me know what you think.

Yes, I can do it. Do you have an exhaustive list of the items you need? It's likely that there isn't a single upload folder, since WP sorts uploads by date.

In that case, it would probably be easier to do it from the backend, right? I don't think we have a list of everything -- at least not yet.

sorry -- I meant "do it from the dashboard"

If we're only talking about a handful of files (say, < 20), then yes, do it from the Dashboard.
