Description

I'm working through some possible solutions, but Gutenberg 18.7, in preparation for WordPress 6.6 last month, changed the string used to opt in to experimental APIs. This bricks our CV editor completely because the Isolated Block Editor relies on private APIs.

The issue has been raised on the Isolated Block Editor repository, but the response from the project maintainers has been a short no.

If this is the only incompatibility, then I'm probably okay to make the manual string change. I'll know more after some more testing.

But for the moment: hold on any Gutenberg upgrade past 18.6 and hold on WordPress 6.6.
