Description

I notice that new blog posts are showing up in the activity feed of a group I'm in (http://commons.gc.cuny.edu/groups/internet-research-team/) and thus are being emailed out to group members. This is a great feature and one that would be particularly important for people teaching courses on the Commons.

The question is how it's happening. Is it the BuddyPress Group Email Subscription plugin? or an RSS feed connected to the group? And why didn't I know about this before? This would seem to solve 2090, for instance.

Hi Matt - Sorry this never got responded to. It looks like this works because the blog in question is linked to the group via bp-groupblog. bp-groupblog creates the activity notifications, and BuddyPress Group Email Subscription sends the emails.
